Technology with a purpose
Tailor-made performance
When driving off-road, every terrain requires a different approach. To help you make the most of the Raptor’s capabilities, a Terrain Management System enables you to fundamentally adjust the vehicle’s acceleration, traction control, steering sensitivity, gear change behaviour and more. Choose from six different modes to maximise performance in all conditions: Normal mode, Sport mode, Grass, Gravel and Snow mode, Mud and Sand mode, Rock mode, and for unbeatable off-road performance, Baja mode.
Race-bred suspension
The All-New Ford Ranger Raptor comes with the legendary FOX Racing Suspension as standard. This performance-tuned suspension has been crafted to soak up punishing impacts, and smooth out bumps and ruts with ease.
Extra control during hill starts
Hill Start Assist temporarily stops you rolling backwards or forwards when making a hill start. The system works by maintaining pressure to the braking system for an extra 2-3 seconds, giving you more time and control as you move your foot from brake pedal to accelerator. It’s also useful when you’re stopping and starting on slippery surfaces.
Essential journey information
An on-board trip computer gives you useful facts and figures about your mileage, fuel consumption, speed and the outside air temperature. It also includes ‘distance to empty’: roughly how far you can go on the fuel left in the tank. This is particularly useful on long journeys, or if you know you’ll be driving somewhere remote.
Use less fuel with Auto Start-Stop
If you find yourself stopped at traffic lights or your vehicle is idling in a queue, this technology can automatically switch off the engine. When you’re ready to move, just depress the clutch and select first gear as usual, or release the brake on an automatic, and the system restarts. Auto Start-Stop is particularly effective in town and city streets, where it can cut fuel consumption by up to 10%

The cutting edge 2.0-litre bi-turbo EcoBlue diesel engine in the All-New Ranger Raptor is engineered for more power, better efficiency and lower emissions. Delivering 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque, this engine sets a new standard for off-road performance.
Clear your windscreen quickly, with Quickclear
This clever feature is designed to get you on the move quickly on frosty mornings. Just touch a button and ultra-thin filaments can superheat to de-ice, de-fog and de-mist your windscreen as well as help defrost the wipers.
Integrated navigation
The Raptor comes with a fully integrated satnav system with an 8” colour touchscreen and DAB audio. This responds to the latest traffic conditions to deliver more accurate estimated arrival times and trip information.

For the first time ever, the All-New Ranger Raptor is available with a FordPass Connect modem*. The system provides a range of invaluable benefits, including up to 4G Wi-Fi†† for a maximum of ten devices, and real-time traffic updates delivered straight to your in-car navigation
A system that can help protect pedestrians
Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection uses RADAR and camera technology to scan the road ahead. If a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist is detected, it’ll then provide you with a warning. If you don’t respond in time, the system can automatically apply up to full braking force to help reduce the severity of, or even eliminate, some frontal collisions.
Maximum grip with minimum effort
An advanced Traction Control System eliminates excessive wheelspin and gives you the best possible grip, performance and stability, just when you need it most. The system constantly monitors and adjusts the power delivered to the vehicle’s individual wheels ensuring maximum contact and grip when you’re accelerating.
Continuous protection against rolling over
Ford’s unique roll-rate sensor helps the Roll Stability Control system to keep the tyres grounded, specifically under conditions where there’s a high centre of gravity and when driving through off-camber turns.
