FEATURES

Advanced technologies help you stay safely connected with the road and the world around you

Cruise control that can adapt automatically

With Adaptive Cruise Control technology, you choose the speed you want to drive at and the system will maintain it. If the built-in RADAR sensor detects a vehicle ahead, it will slow your vehicle to maintain a pre-set distance. Once the road in front is clear, the system will accelerate to your chosen speed.ull.

Stress-free parking and pulling out

Parking can be a real hassle. But not in your new Fiesta. That’s because Active Park Assist uses a combination of different technologies to do more than steer you into parking spots. With Park Out Assist it helps you pull out of them, too. The Parallel and Perpendicular Parking system can sense if there’s space for your car to fit, then reverse you in. And Side Parking Aid also warns you if there are any lateral obstructions.to life.

Technology that sees what you can’t

A Blind Spot Information System uses RADAR sensors to scan the blind spots on either side of your Fiesta. And if they detect a vehicle you can’t see, an orange light that’s clearly displayed in the corresponding side door mirror illuminates to warn you. If you’re reversing out of a space, and have limited visibility of the traffic situation, Cross Traffic Alert can detect oncoming vehicles and sound a warning. The technology also illuminates a light in the wing mirror: left or right depending on the direction of oncoming traffic.

More power. More efficiency. More enjoyment

The revolutionary 1.0 litre 3-cylinder Ford EcoBoost petrol engine gives you all the power you’d expect from a conventional 1.6 engine, but achieves better fuel economy and CO2 emissions as low as 97g/km. Win, win. You can also choose a 1.1 litre TiVCT engine that gives you up to 85 PS to play with whilst keeping emissions down to just 101g/km.

Diesel power

Prefer diesel? Then go for the 1.5 litre TDCi engine that delivers a rewarding 85 PS and achieves a money-saving economy of 88.3 mpg (combined) with CO2 emissions of just 82 g/km for the 3-door and 3.3L/100km with CO2 emissions of just 84 g/km for the 5-door. If you want even more power plus efficiency, a 120 PS engine gives you 88.3 mpg (combined) and CO2 emissions of 89 g/km.

Variable Servicing

Variable Servicing is an intuitive and cost-effective way to maintain your car, designed to increase the maximum length of time between routine services by monitoring numerous factors including time and distance of individual journeys, oil temperature, average vehicle speed and fuel consumption. Variable servicing analyses this data, along with oil wear and degradation, and determines the required routine service intervals of your car tailored to your particular driving cycles, meaning you can benefit from a maximum of up to every 2 years or 18,000 miles before you need to book a service.

A system that can help protect pedestrians

Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection detects vehicles and pedestrians up to 130 metres ahead, or who could cross the vehicle’s path, and warns you of their presence. If you don’t respond, the system automatically applies the brakes. This new technology is designed to help reduce the severity of accidents, or help avoid them altogether. And not only does it function at speeds of up to 50mph, it also works at night.

Airbags to shield you from all angles

In addition to the driver and passenger front airbags, side airbags provide thorax protection and are designed to direct the occupant away from the impact area. They’re also able to raise the arm of the occupant providing better space between them and the intruding structure. Curtain airbags provide maximum coverage and headrests offer protection from whiplash. With front and rear seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiters, plus seatbelt minders, Fiesta helps puts your safety first.

High level security

With double deadlocks a door cannot be opened from the inside, even if attempted entry has been made by breaking a side window. To activate double deadlocking, all you have to do is press the ‘lock’ button on the key fob twice. A Thatcham Category 1 security system is fitted on Zetec and above as standard and includes a perimeter alarm and double deadlocks.

OTHER MODELS

Enjoy the performance and efficiency of an hybrid car

Available as mild hybrid car, the Fiesta is now more efficient than ever. Its advanced EcoBoost Hybrid system is designed to minimise emissions and support the petrol engine with extra power when needed. And self-charging technology means the hybrid battery recharges as you drive.
